Background

Tiffani Kreft is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) currently under supervision as she works toward clinical licensure. Originally from East Detroit, Michigan, she has called Houston home for over two decades. She is also a proud mother of a young adult son.

Tiffani was drawn to the field of social work after working at a nonprofit organization that supported survivors of sex trafficking. Witnessing the resilience of those she served inspired her to pursue a career dedicated to empowering individuals through mental health care and advocacy. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Houston-Downtown and her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Houston.

Training & Approach

Tiffani has received specialized training in addiction counseling, trauma-informed care, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She works primarily with individuals facing addiction, trauma, and life challenges, with a special focus on supporting women and children.

Her therapeutic approach emphasizes empowerment, helping clients identify and achieve their goals while reducing distressing thoughts and behaviors. In addition to individual therapy, Tiffani enjoys facilitating group therapy, providing clients with a safe and supportive space to connect, share experiences, and practice skills learned in treatment.

Tiffani is under clinical supervision with Christine Block, PhD, LCSW-S
