Caroline Edmundson is a Licensed Master Social Worker who is passionate about helping adolescents and adults overcome emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges so they can build fulfilling, meaningful lives. She holds both a Master of Science in Psychology and a Master of Social Work from the University of Edinburgh, where she graduated at the top of her MSW class.
Her academic research explored how childhood ADHD contributes to anxiety, depression, and other emotional difficulties later in life, giving her specialized insight into the complex ways neurodevelopmental conditions shape emotional well-being and relationships. This foundation allows her to effectively support adolescents struggling with ADHD, emotional dysregulation, executive functioning difficulties, and self-esteem.
In addition to working with youth and families, Caroline has extensive experience treating substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and co-occurring mental health conditions. She approaches therapy through a holistic lens, recognizing that each client's experiences, relationships, strengths, and environment play an essential role in healing.
Drawing from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, RO DBT, and ACT, Caroline creates a supportive, collaborative space where clients feel understood, challenged, and empowered. Her goal is to help clients develop healthier relationships, improve emotional regulation, build resilience, and create lasting change that aligns with their personal values
